Blue Ocean Hotel

Good position next to the harbour to start the trip for Komodo. Big room.

It was super noisy and not clean. The bathroom was really stinky.

sehr gute Lage, direkt am Hafen, viele Restaurants und Cafés fußläufig erreichbar, wir haben mittags unser Laundry abgegeben und es war am nächsten Tag um 7 Uhr schon fertig, es wurde schnell ein Taxi zum Flughafen organisiert

schlechtes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, sehr hellhörig, Badezimmer müsste dringend renoviert werden, Abfluss vom Waschbecken kommt in der Dusche wieder raus, Frühstück passabel

The location is PRIME! Right in the heart of the Main Street so everything is easily walkable from here. If you are on a budget or just don't mind not having luxury, this is a great place to stay. Everything is very basic but thats what you pay for. We really enjoyed this for our 2 night stay, it had everything we needed. The room itself was massive with a king bed, balcony, and heaps of room in general. The rooftop area for breakfast (comes with the room which is a great touch) has a great view of the harbour and the food is decent.

the bathroom could use some updating but everything worked how it was supposed too. expect our toilet did come off the floor on one side so that was a bit of a concern. There is a loud noise in the mornings from the monastery around 5am and at sunset but it didn't really bother us that much. The staff were kind and helpful with our bags but there was always so many of them just sitting on the stairs, or on the benches in the hallways just on their phones.. I know there probably wasn't much to do work wise but it just looked a bit not professional.

The room was nice and spacious. A/C was working well and the view from the rooftop was really nice.

pillows were dirty! The shower was also dirty and overall condition of the hotel was not as the photos were showing! They were doing some painting during our stay and the whole hotel smelled it was actually quite bad. The rooftop has seen better days for sure! It’s outdated!

Good breakfast and friendly staff

TV doesn't work unless you have a subscription so shouldn't be listed as a feature. Airconditioner not really working well. Fridge would have been nice. Great location.
