Manaslu

By far, this was the nicest and most pleasant hotel I’ve stayed at during this recent trip to India. The room was exceptionally well built, spacious, super clean, and quiet. The design was fresh and contemporary; everything worked. But most of all, the caring and kindness of the owner and his staff made the difference. Anything you needed, from sightseeing tips to general recommendations, they were there to help you. Breakfast was good. Location wise, you’re about a half hour walk from the MG Marg (I walked it and I’m a senior), or you can take a taxi. The trade off is you have quiet here at night. This was a wonderful place to stay and I’d give it a 10+ if I could.

Cozy, comfortable, welcoming and delicious food.

This is a boutique hotel exudes excellence. The designer's aesthetic sense is visible in every component of the stay. Their rooms are impeccably clean, spacious, pleasing to look at, not unnecessarily cluttered, and have the necessary amenities. The staff is extremely cordial, and Abhimanyu (the owner) personally ensures that the guests are having a good time, not just at Manaslu, but in Gangtok as well. They also have one of the best cafes in town which boasts of the best cheesecake collection in the city. For anyone who doesn't mind having to take a short can ride (very convenient) to MG Marg, this is the place to stay in Gangtok.

Nothing significant

Staff were very competent and had a great attitude. The property is very well maintained, with clean comfortable and large rooms. Abhimanyu the owner, was a great resource during our time in Sikkim, he was very helpful and made our stay and travel alot easier with his great suggestions. They have a nice cafe on the property, with really good pastries, Abhimanyus brother is a trained chef. Overall a very pleasant experience, you can see that the place is run with alot of passion.

Room was exceptional and that was one of the best room heater. Owner was very thoughtful in providing all the amenities which I felt that was much better than Sumit provided. Both the owner and staffs were very helpful throughout our stay. Getting to MG Marg was also easy by hiring a cab for 30₹. Found it little difficult to explain the hotel location but the staffs were helpful with that. Breakfast was good enough but could improve the variety.

The rooms are clean and cozy. Value for money. The staff is very helpful.

The sheets were slightly old as in they were clean but cotton was slightly going off the covers. When asked to change the staff changed it promptly.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Manaslu! The best part was the friendly staff and very friendly and helpful owner Abi! He was ready to help us with any need we had, as well as give us good ideas of places to visit with our kids. The staff remembered our kids’ names from day one. The breakfast was great and the rooms were very clean. The rooms were also quiet due to sound proof windows. The hotel was in a good location. We could walk to the ropeway and take a line taxi for 30 rupees to MG Marg.

The cafe was closed a couple of days that we were there due to the holiday.

Location of hotel is awesome view from room was extremely pleasing. hotel and room interiors are quite exquisite. Owner Mr Abhimanyu is very humble and helpful person. He guided me about sightseeing and cafe's in gangtok. In totality my stay was very pleasing.

only thing i would suggest owner is to kindly add north indian food as well in their menu.
