The Merry Monk Bed and Breakfast

The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. Ideal for food as bar/restaurant on our doorstep. Plenty of easy parking.available. The use of a communal lounge with sink, fridge and tea/coffee facilities was great. The room was surprisingly quiet.

Bequemes Bett. Personal sehr höflich und zuvorkommend. Restaurant mit sehr guten Speisen.

Das Zimmer 1 lag direkt neben dem Eingang und des Gemeinschaftsraums. Auf Grund mangelnder Geräuschdämmung hatte man den Eindruck, dass alles von draußen im eigenen Zimmer stattfindet. Das Zimmer konnte mit Rollos zwar gegen Blicke von außen geschützt werden, jedoch verblieben 'Sichtschlitze'. Die Dusche war ohne Kabine/Vorhang, so war es unmöglich dass das Wasser nicht überall war. Wirklich wohl gefühlt haben wir uns nicht.

Bathroom dated no extractor and could not open window .No juice available at breakfast had to pay for bottle of water and as we had a lovely meal the evening before where we spent 100 euro would have expected more at breakfast time
