The tranquility of the setting enhanced the flavors of the breakfast spread. The palace itself is a masterpiece, exuding grandeur and historical charm. The "Varaha" room, where we stayed, epitomized luxury with its lavish furnishings and attention to comfort. Every corner of the palace seemed to tell a story, creating an immersive and enchanting atmosphere. Our stay at Sawantwadi Palace Hotel was not just accommodation; it was an indulgent journey into elegance and sophistication. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to those seeking a retreat that combines regal ambiance, culinary excellence, and unparalleled hospitality.

Wonderful food, made lovingly by Michelin trained chefs. Staff makes you feel like the world revolves around you, with awesome attention to detailing. Rooms are huge with ample seating, bathrooms are grand too. There is a museum with history of the palace and its royal family. You can also have a meal with the royal family members if you wish. We were welcomed by them in a small tete a tete. A workshop of Ganjifa art can keep the afternoon occupied. Food menus are well curated with treats like special butters. There is a poolside but we didnt go there.

Pillows are too comfortable, a little high.
