“First of all, I would like to thank Dimitris and all the staff. The location was incredibly convenient for us young people; there was no need to rent a car. The breakfast was delightful, the cleanliness was excellent, and the facilities were very satisfying. This is definitely a place I would love to come back to.”

Ακριβώς πάνω στην παραλία βρίσκεται το κατάλυμα , για όποιον ενδιαφέρεται να βρίσκεται όλη την ημέρα στην παραλία , νομίζω είναι ό,τι καλύτερο έχω βρει μέχρι τώρα. Το δωμάτιο αν και μονόκλινο ήταν πολύ άνετο , όπως και το μπαλκόνι, που έβλεπε στην παραλία. Το προσωπικό πολύ εξυπηρετικό, μου έδωσαν ουσιαστικές πληροφορίες για το νησί. Το πρωινό ξεχώριζε, διότι είχε προϊόντα που δεν τα βρίσκεις εύκολα σε άλλα ξενοδοχεία: σπιτική λεμονάδα, γνήσιο θυμαρίσιο μέλι, υπέροχο ελαιόλαδο! Όταν θα ξαναέρθω στην Ίο, θα επιδιώξω να κλείσω πάλι σε αυτό το κατάλυμα!

La struttura è in una posizione fantastica. Tutto è curato nei minimi particolari, colazione abbondante e gustosa. Volendo ti offrono anche il caffè espresso. Margherita e Dimitri sono sempre a disposizione, due persone eccezionali e gentilissime. Siamo state benissimo e sicuramente ritorneremo!

We stayed at Hotel Gorgona in Ios looking for a simple and authentic Greek experience, and it turned out to be beyond our expectations. The property has an excellent location, with terraces overlooking the beautiful Mylopotas beach – a view worth the trip on its own. Just a few steps from our room we had everything we could ask for: the best fish taverna on the island, boat tours, great beach clubs, and the bus stop to the port and Chora. Everything was within walking distance, peaceful and stress-free. Breakfast was another highlight, with simple but high-quality products that made every morning enjoyable. Most of all, Margherita and the owner Dimitri were incredibly welcoming and hospitable, making us feel at home from the very first moment. If you are looking for a genuine, simple, and relaxing stay in the true Greek atmosphere, Hotel Gorgona is the perfect choice.

Posizione imbattibile su una bellissima grande spiaggia dal mare trasparentissimo,ben servita con ristoranti e beach bar stupendi e la migliore taverna di pesce dell’ isola. Colazione completa con varietà di prodotti autoctoni servita con grande disponibilità dei gestori. Addormentarsi e svegliarsi col rumore del mare e’ stato fantastico. Pulizia impeccabile.

È’ stato tutto perfetto,ben al di sopra delle aspettative: siamo stati accolti con grande calore umano e ci torneremo molto volentieri. Posto Consigliatissimo. Grazie a tutto il personale, Dimitris e Margherita,siete super!!!

Staying here was very special. The Hotel is on a beautiful , long, beach with all the colour blues you can imagine in the water. Lovely for swimming and snorkelling and walking. I came with two teenagers and they loved the time in the water under the sun. Watersports right there if you wanted it and a lovely seafood restaurant nearby. At midday when it is best to stay out of the sun we relaxed in the dining area/ lounge or outside under umbrellas playing cards and enjoying the sea breeze. All just bliss. Beautiful breakfast, one can sit inside overlooking the ocean or outside and soak up the view. Dimitri and his staff are so friendly and kind, genuinely caring from the heart, one feels so welcome . I will hold this experience close in the coming months when I am back at work. I totally recommend this Hotel if you want to relax in Ios and if you like the sun and the blue ocean and warm-hearted people.

The property was beautiful and located right next to the beach with a great view from the balcony. The Breakfeast in the morning was lovely and the owners were also very kind.

Our apartment Pikri Nero was cozy, clean, and full of character, with a lovely blue bathroom, comfortable bed, efficient A/C, plenty of space and cozy little beautiful balcony with THAT view! We've traveled to many corners of the world – and certainly throughout Greece – but Hotel Gorgona has a unique, unforgettable spirit. That spirit comes straight from Dimitris, who pours his heart and soul into the hotel. You can feel it in the lovingly preserved traditional interiors – from the charming curtains to the authentic décor – everything reflects the real, timeless Greece. This isn’t the type of place where you’ll find Nespresso machines, designer toiletries, private plunge pools, or branded beach towels in fancy hotel bags. But that's exactly the greek charm – instead, you get a spotlessly clean, romantic, traditional, and absolutely enchanting atmosphere that touches your heart. The rocks behind the hotel and the sea in front of it are breathtaking. The breakfast room is another delight – a picturesque space with beautiful windows that left us speechless every morning. Right outside the hotel, apart from the sea and a charming little fishermen’s taverna, there’s also a very convenient bus stop. Buses run frequently and take you across the island, including to the capital, Chora. A huge thank you to Dimitris and the lovely Margarita at the reception – your kindness and energy made our stay even more special. Dimitris, we truly admire the positive and harmonious vibe you've created here. A million thanks – we can’t wait to return.
