St Georges Bay Country Club & Spa, Affiliated by Meliá

Dieses Hotel ist ein Kleinod. Wir haben uns 6 Tage wie im Paradies gefühlt. Der Park ist wie Eden und man kommt aus dem Staunen nicht mehr heraus. Der Swimmingpool und der umliegende Park mit Liegen sucht seinesgleichen. Das Frühstück ist vielfältig und für alle gibt es tolle Auswahlmöglichkeiten. Das Menü am Abend war gourmetmäßig. Alles in allem: besser geht es nicht!!! Danke auch für das Upgrade mit Meerblick. Unser Urlaub bleibt unvergessen und wir kommen wieder. Unverständlich, wenn jemand über diese Anlage schlechte Bewertungen abgibt. Absolut unfair!

Uns hat alles gefallen.Einzig die Getränkepreise sind wirklich sehr hoch. Eine halbe Bier mehr als 8 Euro ist schon viel. Aber sonst alles top.

Sea front, staff and facilities

This is a gorgeous place right near a long pebble/ sandy beach with a breathtaking view of the mountains. It's surrounded by blooming gardens, there's also an outdoor pool, spa and a quite large indoor pool. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, the place is very well managed. I feel thankful to have found this corner of paradise.

Schönes, ruhiges, nicht zu großes Hotel, mit schöner Anlage, super zum entspannen geeignet.

Leider am Strand keine Sanitäranlagen (Dusche/WC), Fokus liegt wohl weniger auf dem Strandbereich, da auch keine hoteleigenen Liegen und Schirme am Strand (nur gegen Gebühr und werden auch an nicht Hotelgäste vermietet), am Pool leider auch keine Dusche. Wir hatten so unsere Probleme mit den Kopfkissen (ziemlich fest, wohl keine Federkissen vorhanden) auf unsere Anfrage wurden zwar immer prompt neue geliefert, waren am Ende aber alle ähnlich fest (Geschmacksache) Kann das Hotel nichts für, aber wir hatten sehr viele nervige Wespen, die einen regelmäßig beim Frühstück erfreuten (zweite September Hälfte)

My recent holiday at St George's Country Club and Spa was one of the best vacation trips ever in my life for many reasons. Firstly the entire staff working here deserve praise and thanks for their seamless service. Friendly, approachable, sensitive to individual needs, and superb at delivering their 5 star service. The beautiful location is breath taking, especially the seafront Propero restaurant where a leisurely breakfast is served. Sitting here at breakfast with the sound of the waves and the beautiful view of the bay is infact one of the most treasurable memories for me. I cannot thank the dining staff enough for their outstanding attention to my every whim. Food is of the highest quality with excellent menu and wine list. We enjoyed our evening meals so very much, excellent value indeed. The vast grounds are stunningly beautiful with so many different varieties of tropical flowering plants, trees and flora of Corfu. A stroll through the banana trees walkway, finding shade with their large lush leaves overhead is awesome. The swimming pool surpassed expectation. It is deep with no shallow end, perfect to cool down and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the establishment. Our superior 2 bedroom suite accommodated us perfectly. Both bedrooms opened up onto a very large terrace with an open view of green space outside the side perimeter of the grounds. Very quiet and sunny. Appreciated the mosquito net secondary doors. We weren't bothered by mosquitos at all. The shower room was fabulous, powerful shower and hot water at all times. Our maid Elizabet, such a lovely lady. Towels and bed linen wow, crisp clean fresh smelling cotton. There is a short cut to the village through the carpark side gate and the walk to nearest supermarket only a matter of 5 mins. The Ivy Spa is fabulous and surpassed my expectation with state of the art gymnasium, choice of treatments, and large salt water swimming pool with retractable sunroof. My massages were the best!

There are no negatives to note. All in all this was one of my most enjoyable holiday trips ever experienced in my lifetime. I travelled with my young adult niece, both of us in need of complete relaxation on the beautiful island of Corfu. St George's Bay Country Club, I miss you all so very much. Thank you sincerely for everything in making our stay truly memorable.

Die herzliche Atmosphäre im Hotel, die Freundlichkeit des gesamten Personals bis hin zu den Gärtnern hat uns von Anfang an willkommen geheißen. Zudem ist die Lage fantastisch am Meer gelegen.
