Villa Everest

Great location, beds were comfortable, amazing views from the room, clean toilets. Good breakfast options too. Excellent coffee. Value for money.

No hot water during peak morning hours which was very disappointing, the staff was helpful in providing hot water in buckets. We were told this is because people use up all the available hot water so there isn’t enough for everyone. This must be fixed and the management needs to find alternative solutions like geysers in bathrooms. It is not fair to expect other guests to adjust their shower times for hot water availability because someone else has used up all the water. The phones in the rooms were not working either.

Our stay at Villa Everest was very pleasant. The hotel is very well located in a quiet area, while all major sights are still within walking distance. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the room was comfortable and good overall. We had a really good stay and would gladly recommend it.

Kleines Hotel mit schönen altmodisch eingerichtete Zimmern. Etwas weiter weg von der Mallroad aber zu fuss in ca. 10 Minuten erreichbar und in ruhiger Lage. Zimmer war groß und hatte eine Heizung und beheizbare Matratzen, was im Winter sicherlich nice to have ist. Wasserkocher und eine Flasche Wasser. Ich würde definitiv wieder dort übernachten wenn ich mal wieder in Darjeeling bin, definitiv empfehlenswert!!

Kein lift, zimmer etwas hellhörig aber noch nicht störend, Gäste sollen nicht all so spät kommen (23 Uhr wenn möglich spätestens hies es), es wird auf Nachtruhe wert gelegt (was wiederum je nachdem auch positiv ist), in gewisser maßen mit dem Auto schwierig zu erreichen aufgrund von Einbahnstraßen.

Old cot and worn mattresses. The water from the pipes had no pressure it took hours to fill water in the bucket.

The hotel was really beautiful and clean. The room was pretty big. And the staff was really nice and helpful.

The walls are very thin you can everything from the room next door and from the road outside even from the third floor. The hard of the shower wasn’t good and the water stream really low.
