Hotel Nawal Sagar Palace - Bundi

The location and the upkeep. The architecture and the interior makes you feel you are back in history but with modern amenities. The view of lake in front and view of fort are excellent. A must stay place having a owner and staff who are extremely courteous

I arrived by motorcycle on my trip around India. The hotel is probably the best in the area location wise. It overlooks the lake with a lovely garden and secure parking for the bikes is always a bonus. It’s a 5 minute walk to the fort and the bazaars. The complimentary breakfast is fine, toast, jam, tea etc. I’d recommend this hotel.

The rooms are very cold. I bought a hot water bottle from the market and the showers are hit and miss, but that seems to be the norm in big old places like this.

The staff were so kind and friendly. They brought a heater into my room. The setting reminded us of the Marigold Hotel. It was on a lake and so nice. We were there when the kite festival was on.

Absolutely wonderful hotel with the nicest and most helpful staff Maadu. It’s a beautiful calm setting and the rooms are spotless. Great rooms with large clean bathrooms and excellent shower. Beautiful hotel.We had breakfast both mornings which was lovely . I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Lakefront hotel in a lovely old building. Good location with views of lake and fort and a nice room with modern bathroom and comfy bed.

With a little investment and a lick of paint this could be a really nice hotel but it feels a bit neglected. The restaurant was disappointing and breakfast not worth getting up for.
