Hotel Nawal Sagar Palace - Bundi

This hotel is a heritage building that provides basic but comfortable stay in the heart of old town of Bundi. The building is beautifully maintained and sympathetically restored which in itself is a USP. The rooms were spacious and clean, balcony overlooked the lake and the open spaces downstairs overlooked part of the fort. The garden was really great to relax in the morning and evening as well. I was truly impressed by the great service from the reception and dining staff. they went out of their way to make our stay comfortable.

Everything was great. It is a heritage site in an old town location, so I'd advise managing expectations for wanting state of the art modern amenities.

Staff were nice - the young guy at reception was lovely! My room was spacious and clean, with warm shower and air con! Great location too!

The staff were really helpful and did everything and more for us. Madhu at the front desk went out of his way to assist with everything. We were after an authentic experience in an old castle and that is exactly what we had. This building was built in the 14th century and has the glorious architecture of that time - updated with a nice bathroom and shower. It felt like living in the castles we had seen.

It was very clean and fancy! There was a kettle to boil water and teas to make, there were shampoos, soaps, and towels. The room was spacious and we even had a private balcony, as well as the entrance balcony which had monkeys visit from time to time. The sheets and towels were clean. The whole building was beautifully decorated in an oriental style! The restaurant had a magnificent view of the lake and was on grass. The food was delicious. I wish we stayed more than just one night at this place. I definitely recommend it here! Also, the staff was wonderful and friendly and they tried to solve any issues we had. The breakfast was delicious.

We had the most wonderful stay in Hotel Nawar Sagar Palace. Madu the manager was kind, calm and helpful and ensured all our needs were met. The breakfast was simple but good, and the waiters were always accommodating our needs. The room was clean and cool (it was extremely hot while we were here, but inside the rooms we felt very comfortable) and the location was absolutely excellent, only a five minutes walk to the bazaar, restaurants and castle. I would highly recommend our stay!
