Hotel Himsagar

The location of Himsagar was perfect. The manager was very helpfull with organizing a taxii to Pelling and providing a internet connection.

Because of the marble floors it was quite noisy in the hotel. The bathroom could be more clean..

Cheap price for the budget conscious traveller. The hotel manager was super helpful, sending me google map locations for some monasterys off the beaten track. Hotel is well located on the main road and very close to the restaurants and shops. Blanket was warm and cosy.

Dorm was right next to the toilet which was a squat toilet, no shower just a bucket and cold water.

Basic dorm, clean and comfortable. Excellent value and friendly helpful staff

super great price, welcoming to foreigners, host was super helpful arranging further transport and recommendations for my day, couldn’t ask for much more it was a very easy stay. 400rs !

there wasn’t a plug by my bed or a reading light, not a big issue

Good location in the centre, Akash the hotel manager was also great at helping with any queries or questions I had around everything from organising the Goecha La trek and shared cabs to Siliguri
