Anil Farms Gir Jungle Resort

A lovely, all-inclusive stay near Gir National Park. The food provided was delicious and plentiful. The staff were friendly and everything felt very smooth. It’s a little way out of Sasan Gir but it’s a small place and nothing much to be missed by not being closer. The crocs down by the river were a mini highlight. All in all, a very nice experience.

Note that you will have to get a tuktuk or taxi from the resort to the park’s office but seemingly everyone has to do the same thing no matter where you stay. One small thing for the hotel - heating the pool a little would make it more appealing for a swim in the cooler months.

Nice meals. Getting to location was a rough ride. I was not aware the meals atop the booking cost.

Payment mechanism was unsatisfactory. For such a big organisation the should have had a card reader for international credit and debit cards. Instead I was presented with a link to razor-pay which simply did not allow the payment to go through. I had eventually to pay in cash.

We loved the rooms at the resort and the resort as a whole itself was so beautiful, lush greenery and comfortable for the stay. The resort staff were also equally good with very courteous service like food serving, cleaning and supporting elderly guests by taking care of them.

The access to the Resort is very challenging as the route is via a small village where the roads were not flat but very bumpy. Getting hot water on a day which was cold is a small negative from the resort team. Otherwise the Resort is quite Amazing.
