Overall cleanliness of room and bathroom

The location of the hotel is deep into an alley. Getting there was troublesome for me. As I reached there, I was asked to check into a room that didn't have an attached bathroom. Plus, the bedsheet and towel looked dirty inside that room. It was nothing like the fancy and spacious room with sofas that I saw in the pictures on booking.com. When I complained to the receptionist, he changed my room to another one with an attached bathroom. But, this room was again nothing like the one I saw in the pictures. According to the receptionist, there is only 1 or 2 rooms in the entire hotel that match the fancy pictures on booking.com and those rooms are always booked. The newly assigned room had a dirty blanket and a dirty towel. When I asked the receptionist to have these replaced with clean ones, he said that this would soon be done but no one bothered to show up to change the dirty blanket. Thereafter, I ordered a biryani on the day I arrived at the hotel. They said it would ready in 30 minutes. However, it took them about an hour to bring that to my room. I wouldn't have complained about the long waiting time if they had provided me with fresh meal. The meal was not hot to begin with. It felt like the cook just heated up the previously cooked rice and chicken, and served that to me. In short, they served me stale food in exchange for a premium price. Additionally, the washroom smelt really bad somehow. All in all, it was an uncomfortable stay for me and I am glad that I didn't book it for more than 2 days. Wouldn't stay here ever again.
