The villa

It's not a hotel; there are just four villas, and they don't have a reception, restaurant or cafeteria. You're practically alone; contact is via WhatsApp, completely informal and they don't mention that to you on the website. We arrived early on check-in day and needed to have breakfast. The person who greeted us did it in the parking lot because there's no reception office. She told us they didn't have a restaurant or cafeteria, so she could order us breakfast, but we'd have to have it at the spa, of course, I didn't! So, tired after a long trip, we had to take a taxi and go to the center of Ubud for breakfast. The only day we ordered breakfast in the room (floating breakfast), it was terrible. My omelet was raw. They told me they were going to change it, but it never arrived. I didn't get to eat breakfast. Very disappointed, I didn't feel safe there; we were far from everything. During my entire stay (three nights / 4 days), I saw maybe one person around, I imagine it was the security guard, and nothing else. Far below my expectations!

Everything was perfect in our stay, the villa is so so clean and free of insects or anything harmful. The pool was always clean and so good with the view. It is also 10 mins away from Ubud city center which was perfect. The villa also had a kitchen which allowed us to cook and prepare quick meals. The wifi was just amazing and the villa was so quiet. I want to thank the team they were very helpful and welcoming thank you 🙏😊

Because there were no toiletries such as toothbrush, slipper and shower cap which did not allow me to go buy them because check in was at 11 pm, I called the staff but they refused to provide them.

Amazing view from the terrace and very spacious villa in good localization (quiet but still close to Ubud). Very kind and helpful staff. We highly recommend massage services also, especially balinese traditional massage

We were looking for a Villa with a private pool that offered views of forest/jungle with privacy. This place exceeded what we expected.

There could have been a few eateries within walking distance. But transport was easily arranged and it's not far to the centre of UBUD

Staff was awesome, very clean and spatious, good location with a jungle view, great atention to details.

We stayed in 3 of the villas, over 2 weeks time. Waduri was our favorite because there was less road noise in that one. The staff is fantastic, and Niloo was very attentive to needs or concerns. This very high end, exquisite property is overlooking a deep canyon with a river that roars after a hard rain. Monkeys visit regularly! You’d think you were in heaven, if it wasn’t for the extremely busy road on the other side of the canyon. It’s the road that passes Maya, to get to Cahaya Induh Villas.

The very taxing road noise. We sleep with high decibel ear plugs, but would be woken up often by trucks or Harley Davidson type engine noise.

Noisy construction next door made using the terrace and pool pretty impossible. Feb 2025. Very disappointed as we wanted to lounge around pool in the sun and couldn’t.
