HOTEL THE GRANDLADHUKARA

The room was clean and sea facing. The room had tea/coffee making facilities, freeze, and toiletries in the bathroom. Also, the hotel was hardly 7-8 mins walk to Dwarkadhish mandir and about 10mins from station in night. Definitely, I will stay here again.

TV wasn't working in my room, so I asked someone to come and have a look at the tv, but nobody turned up. But I won't let this affect my good experience.

Good central location for solo travel.

I had sent advance 50% payment confirmation, however, upon arrival hotel insisted that payment was not received. Upon my account verification on second day, hotel acknowledged that payment was received. The manager never apologized for their mistake.

Location of the hotel is just within 200 metres of the temple. Sea facing rooms are also there subject to availability. Quality of food at 5th floor restaurants is just awsome.

Some of the facilities can be added for betterment;Such as hotel VIP louge or waiting lounge is not adequately airconditioned. Room service can be made available 24×7 basis.

The staff was friendly and polite. Service requests were promptly handled. The buffet breakfast was value for money.

Nothing actually. The only thing that came close to liking was the food that we ordered.

1. Poor location. Such a circuitous route to reach the hotel. Reception at checkin didn't know how to welcome or smile at the time of guest arrival. Awful ! 2. Although we had opted for payment at the time of checkin, I received 4 calls from the hotel asking to pay 50% amount upfront before checkin. I literally had to block their number from receiving further calls. All that they wanted was to ensure atleast 50% of payment in case of a no-show. 3. The room was dingy, stale odor emanating, & facility has cockroaches. 4. The sheets were dirty and looked creased + slept in. 5. Hair from previous guest use found on the floor + under the duvet. 6. We were so exhausted that we had no energy to complain for our 8hr stay. 7. We left the next morning feeling unclean after stay in such a shabby place. Not the best feeling when U visit a religious city for a temple visit to feel good and purified. 8. Absolutely not worth the money or value. Nothing grand about this property - the name is a misnomer !
