Excellent location

A bit old with some fixing needed

Appartamento molto grande.

Struttura diffusa in un paese isolato. Manutenzione delle camere scarsa. Locale colazione veramente piccolo; teoricamente si poteva fare anche all'esterno, ma si era assaliti dalle api. Molti prodotti, ma con carenze. Il the era finito e sino alla fine del soggiorno ho utilizzto il mio.

The room was cleaned really well every day.

I recently stayed at this property and found that the experience did not match the price paid. Upon arrival, the check-in staff accompanied me to the room and suggested that I “check the room.” At first, this seemed unusual, but it became clear why when I later discovered that one of the two bathrooms was not functioning. Such an issue should have been identified during cleaning and preparation, or addressed before the room was assigned to guests. I reported the problem immediately and was told someone would check it. However, the bathroom remained out of order for the entire duration of our stay. At checkout, I was told it had been checked, to which I pointed out that it was still not working. No apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience was offered. The property shows signs of significant wear: cracked furniture, malfunctioning equipment, and general deterioration that suggests it has not been well maintained in recent years. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, but many items appeared to be of the lowest quality available, such as the tomatoes, "bacon", and cheese. The dining area also had a considerable wasp problem, which was not effectively addressed. Attempts to deter them with burning coffee only added smoke without improving the situation. Overall, I did not feel the value justified the cost. I would recommend that future guests consider other accommodations where price and quality are more aligned. For the management, I suggest addressing maintenance issues promptly, ensuring rooms are fully functional before guest check-in, and improving both the quality of breakfast items and pest control.

Breakfast was quite good. It was lovely that the hotel manager personally chatted with all the guests each morning. I'd also like to give a special thank you to the lady on duty who cleaned and decorated our room perfectly every day.

The pool was not too bad.

Unfortunately, this is a very misleading offer; the pictures uploaded as part of this listing are far from the facility's current state, perhaps they were taken many years ago when the facility was new. The facility is very poorly maintained and falling apart. I can only say that the bathroom on the ferryboat was in much better condition than the one in our apartment/Villa. The apartments/villas or whatever they call them are actually houses spread across Varos a small town on the island (and the reception is few blocks away in another old building), which is very missleading because based on the pictures uploaded in the offering customers are getting the impression that those apartments/villas are in some kind of a resort not spread across a small greek village, and on top of all that the breakfast is right on the street, next to the post office and some industrial garrage. So while you have your breakfast, cars/traffic are constantly passing next to the breakfast tables. The parking for the cars is extremely dusty and with no shades at all, the alley leading to the car parking is blocked by old pallets with rusty nails, and in addition to that, there are some rat traps on the way, not ideal when you are on vacation with a small kid. Overall I would say that this hotel feels and looks more like 2 or 3 star hotel ( with a strach) but defenetely it should not be classified as 4 star hotel, this is very missleading! We’ve been in many other 4-star hotels in Greece and they are much much better than this one!
