The Varos Residences Hotel

I'll start with the staff. Very kind and polite. Our apartment was part of the residences. It is located in the heart of the village in a quiet place. The rooms have everything you need. Well-equipped kitchenette, comfortable beds, clean rooms, sheets and towels changed daily. The village is in the middle of the island and you are about 30 min from each side of the island by car.

A military base with aircrafts is nearby. Some mornings were pretty noisy.

Breakfast was really good and very local-focused. Variety could be better but all the available items were impeccable. Furthermore, the location of the breakfast was superb - in the village square. It gave a very local feel and there are always seats inside if you don’t like the square. Finally really good people working the property - friendly and helpful with advice. They took really good care of us when checking-in early and the cleaning ladies found some of the missing toys our son misplaced (you who have children know what I am talking about).

No complaints really - softer pillows just because I need to write something!

Great houses, the big ones are spacious and, very clean, location in the middle of the island and good for starting point to many beaches and sights. A great cafe in the center with tasty pankacakes, crepes and waffles.

The only small minus is that the beds can be slightly more soft, maybe with a top mattress. They are good quality, just slightly harder than we're used to.

We stayed at The Varos Residences and we felt very welcome and relaxed. The staff was all very nice. The breakfast was some of the best food I had in Lemnos. The lady who worked the breakfast area always remembered what kind of coffee I wanted every morning. The room was clean and comfortable enough. The area is perfect and close to many major spots for exploring. It was very easy to drive a short distance back to rest here between visiting different places. Before staying here, we spent a couple of nights in Myrina, the port, on the other side of the island. It was a beautiful place indeed, but so packed and noisy. It is only for visiting not staying. If you are looking for an authentic, peaceful and quality place to spend your days on holidays, you can choose the traditional village of Varos and The Varos Residences. I will definitely stay here again next time I come to Lemnos.

some of the rooms are good spacious ones. This property has different buildings in the whole village which makes it interesting. also breakfast was authentic and in the village central square. Location of the village is in the central part of the island , which makes it good access point for activities arround

My booking reservation was mistaken by the property. Because of that I had to move to 3 different rooms for 6 nights stay. And that was on top of fact that I’ve booked long time in advance. on the property: No view - most of the rooms very small bathrooms and poorly lighted floors were not very clean most of rooms are on 2 levels, which makes it impossible to get good sleeping temperature on upper and lower beds, even do three were air conditioners
