SeaScape Port Blair

We stayed here on an "emergency" basis because a cyclonic storm affected our ferry itinerary, meaning that I literally reserved the rooms about ten minutes before I checked in. I had no idea what to expect at the time - but hacing stayed there I really cannot fault the hotel, and I commend it to anyone. The staff and management were very understanding of our situation and extremely hospitable and helpful, the room rate was at a fair level, and the food in the restaurant was actually excellent. The location is also very useful for sightseeing around Port Blair, which we took the opportunity to do.

The staff were generous, helpful and responsive.

The family room had an intense mould/fungus smell. It was coming from bedsheets, pillows and blankets. Probably those room doesn’t get proper sunlight. And upon our request they sprayed room freshener so much, that we were not able to withstand the strong room freshener smell. It took almost 2 hours to settle down.
