Dream Hotel

Decent value hotel in the center of town. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is brought to the room. Also they allowed us to check in early since we came with the night bus from cairo.

Not much to complain about.

Egyptian breakfast was okay. We had it in our room and this saved us some time. We called them when we were ready and in a few minutes they brought our breakfast.

The bed sheets were not clean, with hairs, but we told them and they changed it immerdiately. We had the feeling that the room was not the cleanest. Location is in the city center so loud traffic and noisis even in the evening/ night.

The location could not be better. It is literally a stones throw from the train station. Breakfast was excellent, brought up to the room on a tray. Lots of shops for clothes AB’s everything else just outside AB’s down the street. Exceptional value for money.

Just next to the train station.5 min walking distance. Super price, but very easy rooms. For one night it's fine

Breakfast was poor and the WiFi signal is super bad

Great location near the train station and one of the Go Bus stations and easy to find - it’s on the main road surrounded by restaurants and shops and taxi drivers know it. Room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable with nice white linen and a top sheet covering the blanket - a rarity in Egypt. It was great to receive a welcome drink on arrival and free breakfast. staff were friendly and I felt safe as solo female traveller but did not speak English but they could use google translate. Breakfast was prompt and arrived within 10mins of requesting it. It was winter and cold but the room was perfect temperature. Wifi worked well in the room. Good value for money. By staying here I was able to see the wonderful Dendera Temple at 7am when no tourists were there (big buses started arriving at 8.45am). Note: there is at least two Go Bus stations. I was dropped at the one 2km away but only 50 EGP taxi so not a problem. Request a room at the back away from the traffic noise (but you can still hear the roosters early morning).

Staff did not provide assistance with taxi to Dendera Temple - I found a taxi at the train station (350 EGP return to Dendera including 2 hour wait time). it would have been nice if they had a driver to call so I didn’t have to argue for a price on the street. Breakfast did have a boiled egg, bread, jam but fuul was terrible and you only received a tiny paper cup of hot water and a tea bag (no coffee or good sized glass cup like the welcome drink). Minor issues that could be easily fixed.
