The Rosefinch Sarovar Portico

Breakfast is very tasty, location is very nice & scenic, architecture was very beautiful. Total luxury. Overall experience was wonderful. Whenever will go to Bhimtal, I will prefer to stay here. It's a go to choice.

Since we have stayed earlier in Sarovar Portico, we thought it will be too good

There was no hair dryer in the washroom , charges were extremely high

The road upto the hotel and the cars had to be parked 1 km away ( by the hotel staff) . But having dedicated parking at the hotel would have been nicer

We had a truly delightful stay at The Rosefinch Sarovar Portico, Bhimtal. The property is beautifully located and offers a perfect mix of comfort, calm, and warm hospitality. From the moment we arrived, the experience was smooth and welcoming. A special mention must go to the shuttle cab drivers who take you from the parking area to the hotel — they are extremely courteous, helpful, and make the commute pleasant and hassle-free. Their warmth really sets the tone for the stay. The bonfire experience is an absolute must-do. It was cozy, well managed, and added a lovely charm to the evenings, making our stay even more memorable. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and the overall ambience of the property is very relaxing. The staff across the hotel was attentive and always ready to help with a smile.

The breakfast buffet was good overall, though it could be slightly better with a few more options added. That said, the quality and service were still commendable and did not take away from the overall experience. All in all, it was a wonderful stay and we left with great memories. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a peaceful getaway in Bhimtal. We would definitely love to visit again!

the food was amazing we tried some of their kumaoni cuisines and they were really delicious. Their live tea counter is a blessing in the hills. they make the chai as you like it.

overall its a great place to chill out. its bang opposite to the bhimtal lake which is great. the only slight negative is that you dont' have hte option to do anything else but the touristy things like boating adn water sports. on a long weekend it gets very crowded and you can face traffic jams that will prevent you to go anywhere else.

It’s a little high on the mountain and parking is far away .. although they had a free shuttle from parking to the property

The property did not have proper heating systems even in peak on winters. The room thermostat did not go higher than 22 degrees and when we asked for a heater, they got a small one which wasn’t sufficient to heat the room. We felt slightly cold all throughout our stay.

“Amazing stay! The staff were extremely friendly and courteous Mr Pawan, Aman and Keshav welcomed us at the reception. The rooms were clean and offered an amazing lake view. The gaming room was a nice addition, and the overall atmosphere was calm and peaceful with no noise. The hotel is made in a way that you have your privacy. Food was really nice and the price was reasonable. The staff in restaurant Mr Laxman and Mr Brinder are so hospitable. The weather was pleasant. The hotel arranged a bonfire at extra cost for us ,it was really nice . The location is simply amazing 5mins from bhimtal lake and mall road and 15mins drive from naukuchiatal lake were we did zipline and boating. We did fishing with a fishing permit.Highly recommended!” They had parking for our car in a other plot 2mins from hotel but they had a shuttle car service with an amazing driver mr Bhopal he was always willing to help us with all our requests. He even arranged a car on extra cost for us to go to Golu devta temple that was about 40 mins away. Will love to visit this hotel and will recommend 👌 this hotel ....
