The Rosefinch Sarovar Portico

The staff is outstanding... from the shuttle driver to the bell boys to the housekeeping and restaurant staff. Everyone smiled a lot were happy to accomodate reasonable reuquest.. eg extending complimentary rates hours by 15 minutes while we were on our way back. The property itself is thoughtfully designed with all rooms having a lake view (albeit through thick foliage). There are thoughtful sit outs to enjoy a drink or just commune with nature

Parking. There is limited parking on the property and self driven cars are sent to a rather dusty parking lot 1 km away. They have a shuttle to the parking but no valet or cleaning service. Our car was caked with dust on our departure. The guard on duty kindly agreed to clean up with a bucket of water... but the cleaning could have been arranged for without an obligation.

Location,rooms,food were all exceptional

We never expected the hotel to be so beautiful. Our rooms were spacious with all the amenities needed for a short stay. Beautiful view and good location too.

The cappuccino we ordered was terrible. It hardly had any coffee and it had spilled all over. When I told the waiter, he simply said it was froth. It wasn't.
