Valley Boutique Hotel

New hotel - fresh and clean, except windows in breakfast area needed a clean. Best hotel in town and used by business men. Breakfast was pretty standard and while there I think served by someone filling in, as on the last day things improved with a new guy on duty. We had a standard room booked initially, but asked to upgrade to a suite which happened with no fuss. Reason for upgrade below. Suite was roomy - good tea making facility and separate lounge and bathroom. Staff were lovely and helpful - the sweet treats on day two a pleasant surprise. Yes, the pool is cold but refreshing. We were the only people using it - very quiet at the hotel - a little off the beaten track . We found the outlook interesting although a little unusual over the valley with old ceramic manufacturing huts in it. We had a fabulous guide for the day ( Jamal) organised by reception - great value.

Initial room small and no tea making facility. As gym not great needed space to do some exercise( yoga) . While only a year or so old already showing signs of poor maintenance. Shower in both rooms had mouldy grout, Skirting board was coming off and drawers did not close properly in wardrobe. All easy fixes. The worst aspect was that no taxi wanted to go there or seemed to know where it was ! Was an easy walk down hill in to town but not keen to do at night. So much rubbish every where - the street was dirty. Gym was up the road not on site and had male and female days - not particularly inviting if European.

The staff, their attentiveness, the bedrooms were incredibly comfortable and the facilities were top class.

Excellent hotel with excellent location, extremely clean & comfortable . Upon arrival, l was warmly welcomed by the friendly reception staff Leila she makes my trip more interesting with her advices & tips about the city. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. Many thanks also to Houssine and Said, for going just that little step extra for the guests!

it was a charming boutique hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was excellent with many options.

Even though they tried multiple times they could not get the TV to stay working. After the third try and it shutting off automatically we gave up. The blinds are not black out and it was quite bright at night from security lights and bright when the sun came up.
