I was kindly allowed to do an early check in due to the overnight travel from Cairo and was picked up from the centre. Amany was great and very friendly but the only english speaker in Seliya. The place is located away from town centre so it's not affected by its noise , however I didn't sleep for 2 nights in a row because of the hotel's dog barking in the internal garden.. which went on for hours in the middle of the night... This was the big and only minus for me. There is not much going on near the hotel but the tuk tuk to town is only 40 Egyptian each way and Amany can arrange food delivery if needed. The place is really pretty and lots of places in the garden when you can hang out or relax, mosquitos permitting. Would be nice to see some mosquitos traps so that the time in garden is more enjoyable.

A very peaceful and beautiful place. Amany is the best host - a calm, warm and helpful presence. Close enough to the main town (we walked once and it was about 20 mins) but you can get to anywhere for a cheap price in a tuk tuk. The desert safari was incredible! we opted for a private one with dinner and it did not disappoint - so much fun with incredible stars and Amany booked us the best chef in town who cooks the food under the sand. Would recommend!

The staff were super friendly and helpful. They ordered our bus tickets that we had problems with ourselves. They gave us a free ride to downtown. Honestly all of them are such welcoming and nice staff. The breakfast included was huge and outstanding. And also there were so many cute animals all around us like dogs, cats and a turtle. 1 dog even gave birth to the cutest puppies while we were there so if you want a cuddle puddle with some new born puppies, this is the place to be. We were so relaxed and the accomodation is the most beautiful I have seen in all of egypt. The photos do not lie!!!

It is quiet.

It is far from the city center and it is hard to get a ride.Going to the hotel from the city was always a struggle as tuktuk drivers didnt speak english and even if I showed them the hotel name and photos they still wouldnt know where it was.Id always dial the hotel and have the driver talk to them.Going to the city from the hotel was harder as there are few tuktuks that would pass by.For the first time in years i occupied my room without being checked in because there was no one at the reception. THERE was a guy who I think was a care taker but not in charge of checking in guests.He wanted to keep my passport and he would just placed it on the desk unattended.The guy in the afternoon of march 7 didnt help me hail a tuktuk.He just ignored me.There was no hot water in the shower and it is cold in march.The water would also suddenly stop
