We stayed overnight at the Arrandale Hotel, which had some old-fashioned charm. While the room was clean, the bathroom was in need of renovation! The sink didn't drain properly, and there was a lingering odor in the bathroom. Additionally, the Wi-Fi didn't work during our stay. Overall, it was a bit of a mixed bag.

Good location near the centre. Easy street parking. Very helpful welcoming host. Good WiFi.

Could do with a fettle. Bathroom window needed a fix. Hot water took ages.

The location is excellent - short walk to the beach and town centre. However, the staff were unbelievably kind - I spent the week with my father who was in end of life care at the hospital and I needed a place to have a hot shower and rest before returning - they couldn’t have been nicer and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, had everything I needed, and were so understanding when I confused the check out time. Thank you so much 🙏
