Powerscourt Springs Health Farm

Amazing location and so peaceful

Staff on our first day were very off hand. On our 2nd day though the staff were very friendly.

Lounge area. Open fields.

Sewage system draining excessively slowly. Appeared to be producing toxic fumes in our guest bathroom. (Headaches nausea, breathlessness). Leaving fan on and using towels to block gap under the door didn't help. Windows covered in cobwebs upon opening. Changed room, only fractionly better. Outside seating uncared for (cobwebs). Some staff appeared distracted (with the exception of the barman). Lady serving in the restaurant works hard. They are improving court yard but bedrooms are small dark and cramped, although well appointed. Bathrobes provided but no slippers. Pool shuts at 7pm. Breakfast hot food nice, self service items poor and on one day missing completly. (Not relating to Powerscourt Hotel in any form or shape, our error).

Really relaxed atmosphere. Staff were very nice, dinner and breakfast were both enjoyable. Not sure why this property has such mixed reviews. I would recommend. Perfect for a one night getaway
