Casa De Amed

We loved Amed and Casa de Amed was perfect. Our gorgeous room faced the ocean with a balcony and windows to the sea on two sides. This small hotel was spotless and the people were warm and kind. Air conditioning worked very well. Internet was slow at times but adequate. Many restaurants close by with delicious food. Included breakfast at Casa de Amed was also wonderful. Snorkeling in Jemelek Bay was super!

Faucet in bathroom was a bit loose. Bathtub/shower a bit slippery - could use a rubber mat in there for safety.

We had the ground floor superior villa which was fantastic, looking onto the pool and the beach. It had an outside shower area which was lovely. Lots of plug sockets in the room. Great location for snorkeling and restaurants and diving centres!

Breakfast is a limited menu and average quality. Staff speak minimal English so there was a couple of moments of confusion. There’s no ‘vibe’ in the hotel, we only saw 1 other guest throughout our time. The bed was a little hard and the roosters that live next door to the hotel are very noisy early morning and throughout the day! Bring earplugs! We asked for a taxi to take us from the hotel to Padang Bai and the receptionist said he would do it, it’s an hour and a half drive and he drove so fast speeding up to 60 then sharply dropping down to 30 throughout the whole journey when there was no need and there was no rush. We asked him to drive more gently as we were both feeling travel sick in the back of the car but he continued to drive the same. I was thankful when we were stuck behind a lorry for a short time to get a moment of relief.

I like the room, the breakfast the location and of course all the staff was friendly and helpful allway , I recommend 100 percent

The pool and the staff were great Breakfast was basic but ok Rooms were clean

advertised tv and there was none working not that i always stay inside but I do like to wind down watching a movie in the evening after a day in the heat. I always book a room with one advertised and was disappointed there was none.

Quiet location, very relaxing.

Needed mattress on sun lounge by the pool.

Big bright room facing to the sea, nice staff, restaurant next door, close to snorkeling spots

Difficult to keep water not splashing outside the bathtub during shower as, first no shower curtain, second the handle of the hand shower head.
