"Best hospitality and sunsets in French Polynesia."

My stay at Maitai Lapita was an absolute highlight of my French Polynesia trip. The hotel and bungalows are beautiful and have a very authentic feeling to them. The little beach and restaurant have the best views of sunset over Raiatea and breakfast was great. What made is most amazing was the extremely hospitable staff, especially Vaea, who was extremely helpful and organized very special activities for me. Her kindness and warmth will stay in my memory and I would love to come back one day :)

This is a beautiful and friendly place. Our bungalow was exceptionally spacious with a beautiful outdoor deck and plunge pool. Wonderful friendly staff who completely exceeded our expectations.

As a dark sky person, I would have liked less outdoor lighting on the bungalow to optimize viewing of the gorgeous night skies
