Pyramisa Island Hotel Aswan

Accoglienza da 5 stelle attenta, rapida professionale e piena di attenzioni... grazie a Cristen (sicuramente ho scritto male il nome della signora egiziana con i capelli neri di una gentilezza infinita), struttura ubicata su un'isoletta nel bel mezzo del Nilo, affacciata sull'acqua e collegata alla terra ferma mediante un servizio attento e puntuale di barche a motore con transito ogni mezz'ora. Servizio bar ottimo. Vista mozzafiato dalla nostra camera dell'ultimo piano sul Nilo e sulle montagne di deserto: pura poesia!!

La struttura presenta qualche segno di usura. Peccato per la trascuratezza della struttura un tempo adibita a moschea, dell'attigua area verde e della vicina piscina

The hotel itself is really cute and looks like the pictures online. The location is unique, being on an island, which gives it a very calm and relaxed atmosphere—Aswan in general was my favorite place in Egypt for this reason. The staff were generally very friendly and accommodating. I arrived around 9 a.m. and was able to check in by 11 a.m., even though official check-in was later, which I really appreciated. There is also a free shuttle boat that runs regularly (about every 30 minutes, even early morning), making it fairly easy to get to the mainland in about 10–15 minutes. Once I understood the setup, logistics were manageable. The hotel also offers breakfast packs if you need to leave early for tours, which is helpful. Overall, it was a calm, scenic stay and matched the photos well.

Because the hotel is on an island, you are quite limited in terms of dining and movement unless you take the shuttle boat to the mainland. This can make early morning excursions a bit inconvenient, since you need to factor in boat travel time before your tour pickup. Food options within the hotel were also somewhat limited, since you are mostly relying on the hotel restaurants. One thing I didn’t enjoy was being repeatedly encouraged to leave a high rating immediately at checkout. While the staff were very attentive and friendly, I felt a bit pressured to open the app and leave a “10/10” review on the spot, which made the experience feel less natural.

The personal working in the pool area was super nice.
