Water pressure at the shower was minimal and the bathroom wasn't very clean

Nothing, really.

The interior is a bit old, but still in okay shape, and most of all clean and not mouldy (unfortunately rooms are often mouldy in India, not so this one). The beds are rather hard, what i personaly prefer over too soft matraces. Our host was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. As we arrived late, short before the kitchen was closing, he even sent us the menue beforehand and offered to have the food prepared for us by the time we arrived, which i found very thoughtful! It definitely is good value for the money.

The best part of this Home stay is the homely atmosphere because of the lovely family host . The food is very good giving you the taste of home cooked food . Rooms are good enough for a family of 2--4 People . I liked the concept of 2+1 bed which makes it ideal for the entire family to sleep comfortably . Infact I slept on the single bed which was very nice. Though my stay was only for a Night , I did enjoy it very much. The only issue I felt is its locaction which I feel not near the chandigarh main city ,station or bus stand . But those who are wanting to have a Peaceful atmosphere , Home cooked food & are okay with the extra travel of commute for them , it should be very good for those travellers . Depends where is their work location . Keep up the good work " New Chandigarh Home Stay team " Will come back again ....
