Hotel St. Georg Garni

Klasse Ausstattung, sehr schönes Ambiente und ein tolles Frühstück. Was will man mehr?

Einziger Kritikpunkt ist, dass sich das Fenster nicht besonders gut verdunkeln ließ.

This is a lovely little hotel in one of Celle's historic half-timbered buildings. Quiet leafy surroundings a bit outside the town centre mean that reaching the main sights required a fair bit of walking. A good breakfast is provided at a very reasonable price.

We were on the top floor and had to be careful of sloping roofs in both the room and bathroom. It is an historic building so no lift or airconditioning but this did not bother us. It is not walking distance from the station with luggage, but finding a taxi was easy and on leaving the hotel arranged one to pick us up.

We stayed one night. Perfect location. 10 min walk to the old city. Situated in a charmig street and easy access to parking at the other side of the street Very comfortable beds and modern bathroom. Very quiet, we had a very nice sleep. The room had a very nice garden view.

On the minus side is that the choices for breakfast are a bit limited for german standards. However we were offerered very good scrambled eggs.
