Good vegan breakfast served in great surroundings

No real complaints

Beautiful scenery and location. We enjoyed walking arpund the garden and the little lake. Our room was gorgeous and the bed was super comfortable. Dinner and breakfast was so delicious. Can't wait to go back. The staff are so friendly and really helpful.

Breakfast was good with quite a large selection of cooked items..Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Location was so peaceful and beautiful and quite close to Chard town. Sunday roast very good value for money. Premises look like something you would see on the Continent with lovely flower displays. Water wheel is run occasionally and works well.

Wet room in downstairs room en-suite needs tidying and tiles need grouting and small amounts of mould near floor by toilet outside wall. Also there were no shelves or adequate size drawers to put underwear or incidentals on or in, in the main room.

Excellent location for near my daughter . Breakfast was excellent and bed was comfortable. Good shower with coffee and tea facilities in room . Bar open in the evening . Quiet location away from the road .

Water bottles in room had been used and left half empty. Water mill was extremely loud was going to be turned off by 20.00 but forgot to do this had to go and remind the gentleman as we had a baby in the room.

The breakfast was excellent. We had an evening meal which was also very good. The setting and grounds are amazing. We had a lovely evening outside with pre and after dinner drinks. Truly loved it.

The room that you helped yourself to cereals/juice etc dark and depressing. Staff were friendly but not especially helpful by way of telling you where to go, where breakfast was served etc. The carvery on Sunday evening was dreadful. By 6.30 in the evening you were left with the remains of the lunchtime food - dried out, over cooked and very unappealing. The counter was covered with dried food that hadn't been cleaned away. Unfortunately the following day I had an upset stomach. Had I known the area better I would have gone to find another establishment to eat but I had already spent 4hrs driving so didn't want the hassle - which I regretted in the morning
