Golden Tulip Vagator Goa

I stay in Vagator often and this place is going to be my new go to spot. The bed is really comfortable the shower is actually enclosed so you don't get the whole bathroom wet which is pretty rare. There's an elevator. People are nice and everything's clean.

I liked the overall hygene at hotel. Above Indian standards. Breakfast was amazing. Airconditioned room and all indian and sufficient international content was available.

The pool is unnecassary for such property and it can drag mosquitos. Instead, you would put a zen garden with comfy chairs to relax under shade, away from crowd , read a book or just chill with good music. Such pool spare would be converted to such zen garden concept and people would enjoy drinks from bar as well. Looking at the pool, we never wanted to go in or sit by the side. None of the guests were there, either we noticed. There is beautiful vagator beach nearby so such small pool by a big building is just unnecassary.

The hotel was good as were the staff. Room was very big and comfortable. Receptionist was very pleasant.

We booked room pay on arrival. The contacted hy hotel to request 50% payment or room would be cancelled. We requested payment link as its not processed through booking.com and they failed to send this and when we arrived at hotel there was no room Booking for us. They did get us a room but the whole booking process was very difficult

Great location close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Staff very friendly and helpful going out of their way to make your stay comfortable.Good breakfast with a range of choices. Room was very comfortable and the swimming pool was big enough to get a few laps in of exercise.

Staff struggled to understand the different accents and many times get your order wrong. Check for understanding.Management could invest in additional English lessons to help staff communicate better with guests.

This was my first hotel stay in India, and after a long day of travel, the smooth and efficient check-in was truly appreciated. I was able to settle in, take a shower, and get a much-needed rest right away. The following morning, when I wasn’t completely satisfied with my room, Pooja kindly arranged a move to a better one without any hassle, which set a very positive tone for the rest of my stay. Breakfast was excellent throughout my seven-day visit, and Rahul ensured everything ran seamlessly each morning, making the experience even more enjoyable. Unfortunately, I fell ill on my second day in Goa and had to remain in my room to recover, during which I relied heavily on room service. On one occasion, the chef, Mr. Herichandra, personally visited me to ask if there was anything special they could prepare and to gather feedback on the meals I had enjoyed so far. This thoughtful gesture truly stood out and made me feel genuinely cared for. Once I started feeling better, I ventured out for dinner and was served by Gautam, who was exceptionally kind, attentive, and service-oriented. His courteous manner left such a positive impression that I ended up having many of my dinners at the hotel. I would rate this hotel 5/5 purely for the genuine care, warmth, and attention shown by the staff. I would happily return if I ever find myself in Goa again.

Some of the electricity plugs were quite loose so I had to prop up my chargers with a cigarette pack to charge

This property had a 5 star feel and 5 star service- the people that work here are so amazing. The price is also amazing!
