Hôtel luxueux meublé avec beaucoup de goût, personnel très attentif mais il y fait bien froid dans la salle à manger et les chambres - c'est Puno! (pas de chauffage, comme dans beaucoup d'hôtels au Pérou). L'hôtel est à 18 kms de Puno, vous ne pouvez manger que sur place, on vous sert 1 plat, sans choix, c'est très bon et très abordable mais très juste au niveau quantité.

Dans cette maison, le maître est aux petits soins: il a organisé pour nous la visite des îles Uros ainsi qu’un transfert privé à très bon prix à Copacabana. La maison est décorée avec beaucoup de goût et les salles de bains sont impeccables. Nous avons également profité de la terrasse avec vue sur le Lac. La localisation dans le village de Chucuito permet de vivre une expérience plus au calme qu’à Puno, qui reste accessible en 20’ de taxi. Nous avons apprécié ce village authentique.

Words can’t explain how beautiful this hotel and town are, but I’ll try. The views are spectacular and the locals are so welcoming. The air is so clean and fresh. I traveled solo, but I wish I could have shared this with someone because the hotel and town are so romantic. The owners wife is an interior designer and she has decorated it with so much antique furniture, art and other items like antique typewriters and record players, vases and so much more. There’s a beautiful terrace, a bar, many areas to lounge in outside your room. Breakfast is wonderful, bread from Peru, butter, jam, fresh fruit, eggs, coffee and more all included. They will even do your laundry here for a small fee. When I booked this on Booking, I thought the hotel was directly in Puno. It became the most beautifully pleasant surprise that it wasn’t in the city. You’ve come this far, just go a little further. I can assure you that you won’t be disappointed! I stayed 4 nights and it was an amazing experience. You will be 25 minutes outside of Puno in an incredible town named Chucuito, but don’t worry, there’s vans and taxis that are available in the main square, just one minute walk from the hotel. The vans are only 2-3 soles, whereas the taxis are between 25-40 soles. You can find the less expensive vans in Puno very easily to return you to Chucuito. My only advice is to bring cash, the only place I know of that takes a credit card is the hotel. Again, I encourage you to come to the countryside, you’ll be so happy you that did. There’s many restaurants to choose from in the main square and all around the town, as well as many little convenience stores. The people are honest and won’t charge you more, I can’t say the same about Puno, or any other city for that matter. Everywhere I pointed my phone for a picture was like a painting that should be on a wall. I highly recommend you choose to stay here, and take a break from the typical city smoggy life that normally accompanies travel.

Hot water in the bathroom all the time, which is rare in Peru. Very clean room, nice view and comfortable bed. Safe garage for the car included in the price.
