Original Sokos Hotel Rikala Salo

Rather nice, comfortable room with good location in Salo. Nice staff!

The bed is rather uncomfortable and pillows like they are filled with sand. Hard as rocks. The window didn't open and no ventilation whatsoever, my room was like a sauna. They do not clean the room if you stay more than one night. I stayed three, it would be nice if someone took the trash out at least. I think this stay is over-priced but there are not many options in Salo (which probably explains the price level).

This hotel is simply fabulous. I rarely rate something this high. It's right at the river side with beautiful views + literally 5 minutes from the bus station. The staff is extremely helpful. The breakfast is amazing.

7 min walk from railway-station. Good river view room, with extra pillows. Not far from everything in Salon. Nice breakfast in large restaurant.
