Hotel Gasthof Kircher

This is a charming, small, family-run hotel just beneath Schlern mountain in the hamlet of Ums, a 40 minute scenic walk (and quick drive) from the nearest town, Völs am Schlern. Set in flowering meadows, it is an idyllic and quiet situation with beautiful views from the balconies, and several walks up the mountain directly from the hotel. There is a frequent bus service with a stop close to the hotel. There are 7 rooms, immaculately clean, and the food was of excellent quality, so that we ate most of our meals in the hotel. The staff were very helpful, and Patrizia and Jena especially on the walks and sight-seeing. We enjoyed the sauna and steam room in the wellness centre. The outside pool had not yet opened. We attended the Schlern music festival, visited Merano and its gardens on a rainy day, did the Puflatsch round walk after driving up to Compatsch from Seis, did a stunning round walk in the Tschamintal Valley, visited the Tschafon hut in a round walk from the guest house - walking back round the front of Schlern in the forest, we visited the Prösels Castle (and one of the concerts was held there), and walked from the swimming lakes to the Tuff Alm.

As we are from England, we would have appreciated a kettle and tea in the rooms. But we were able to acquire cups of tea from the bar downstairs.

L'hotel è situato in una zona tranquilla, circondato dalla natura e con vista panoramica. La fermata dell'autobus (gratuito) si trova proprio di fronte all'hotel. Camera molto accogliente e bella, bagno rinnovato. Cucina eccellente!

Super Hotel, super Zimmer, sehr freundliches Personal, sehr sauber, sehr gutes Frühstück, sehr gute Karte im Restaurant und sehr Leckers Essen vom Chef zubereitet. Wie bedanken uns an Familie Harder für den schönen Urlaub.

Wir waren leider nur drei Nächte im Hotel kircher .Es hat uns super toll gefallen .Die Lage mit Blick auf die Berge das liebevoll eingerichtet Hotel .Der Garten mit Pool. Das Personal und die Hotelchefs waren super freundlich . Immer ein nettes Gespräch mit Wanderempfehlungen .Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt und waren traurig als wir wieder abreisen mussten .All zu gerne kommen wir wieder .Ein großes Lob an den Koch. Die Küche ist hervorragend. Alles lecker mit Kräutern und Gemüse vom eigenen Garten .Das Hotel ist echt weiter zu empfehlen .
