When I could leave

I contacted someone via the booking.com, and I got the google maps location, it was not correct, I had to look for them an hour in the village. I wrote them, I will arrive by motorbike, but nobody notified me, about the road condition, it was life risky, from one direction (you can choose from two option). Finally, I survived the road, find them, and could not put the motorbike any place. (The shop owner at the corner was kind and let me to park front of their portal). Nobody speak English a word. The room was like a garden shed. The bed was firm like the floor. All night leeking the horrible toxic smoke into the room. (The local people just burning the rubbish everywhere). Dogs around barked all night and the walls like the paper. When they finished, early morning (4:30 am) the roosters started. If you accidently could sleep, the outside megaphone started to shout the radio programme just next to the room (6:30 am).

A wonderful environment by the lake with fantastic nature. Great people, warm and willing to give advice. Great boating and swimming in the lake. Close to beautiful mountains in the area. Accommodation in a pleasant house, excellent local cuisine, barbecue in the evening on an open fire with an open bar. Surprising beyond my expectations. Thank you, I will be happy to stop by again.

The homemade food was excellent. Order in advance of your arrival.

I'd suggest the hotel impose quiet time during meantime and at 9pm sharp so that loud guesses don't disturb the quiet surrounding of the village and ruin other guesses' experience. I came to the area more interested in the sound of nature and village life than the off key karaoke sung by drunken and obnoxious men from the city. Pac Ngòi and Ba Be Lake are special places and I hope that the guesses staying there show their respect..
