I have stayed here before and always return,.....the restaurant and the atmospherre are really good.

The room is nice.

Breakfast: Fermented juices, stale bread, questionable-quality cold cuts, dried fruits (thanks for them not being rotten). We had to get water from a tap in the restroom. We didn’t try the milk or yogurt (didn’t really want food poisoning). And all this for just 50 euros.

The hotel was rated 2* and therefore we did not expect much, however the room was a good size, we stayed with a medium/big dog and he fitted in well. the bed was comfy, which is all we needed for an overnight pitstop. The food in the restaurant was good, great wine choice and good cheese board, which you would expect from this area. Staff sufficiently friendly. The village is worth a visit, a beautiful little place.

The entrance to the hotel and the corridors, nearly made us turn round and find somewhere else. It is very unwelcoming and if I had been on my own, it would have been unnerving. The Lino on bathroom & toilet floor was coming up and the paintwork needs refreshing. The hotel needs renovation and some love, it feels uncared for. there is great potential here, but it feels like the management don't care. The bathroom pipes were very dusty and not been wiped for a long time.

Dinner was excellent food and service.
