Casa D'or Dahab

I liked everything!

The property is stunning - the pool is such a nice place to relax by and the rooms are very spacious and clean! We loved our stay. The host, Mango, was also so hospitable and helped us book taxis, organise a trip to the blue hole etc.

We originally booked Casa D’or but were transferred to their sister hotel, Neom — and this review is for Neom. Mr. Badr was incredibly helpful and accommodating to all our requests. We were three families, and each of us felt very comfortable and happy throughout our stay. The staff were always smiling, polite, and ready to assist. The view is absolutely spectacular, and the hotel offers full food and beverage services, reliable Wi-Fi, and efficient air conditioning. I highly recommend Neom and will definitely be coming back!

It’s the second time we’ve stayed in Dahab with Thomas & his wonderful team at Casa d’Or. Everything about this hotel, and the service provided, is perfect. At first glance the location is a little unusual, but it’s only a short walk to the pedestrian area along the Dahab waterfront for restaurants, etc, and away for the noise and intensity of of the centre of Dahab. It’s calm location, with beautiful views of the mosque and mountains, with easy access to everything you need is ideal. We were mostly in Dahab for the kite surfing, and Casa d’Or can organize a driver for all transfer to the lagoon (or elsewhere) and back, and put it on your bill (at local rates) so you not need the hassle of negotiating costs with every local driver. As I said, Casa d'Or is a great little hotel with exceptional service.

There was nothing to not like.

The room is bigger abd more comfortable than the rest of Dahab hotels.

The hotel is more than double price of all hotels in the area but i find this unjustifiable because: The hotel location is further to the beach and you walk in the dark desert in the middle of nowhere to get back to your room. The room was okay but falling apart, the closet door could fall any moment and is not opening and closing properly and a metal rod fixed in the shower almost fell on my head. The TV has no channels,relying only on stream services and most mornings the internet connection was not working. A room that expensive with no TV! I barely met any of the staff, i consider myself lucky that i was able to get there attention for the check in. The room was an OCD nightmare with all the horrible crooked picture of cheap prints of red sea corals wrongly hung on the wall. You feel like the room is randomly furnished. My friend has booked the same room and he got a bean bag that i didn't have and a decorative side lamp that was missing from my room.

The staff is hospitable, the environment is quiet, the rooms are spacious and not far from the city, making it a rare and quiet place to stay. The owner is very enthusiastic, any difficulties

The internet wasn't very smooth at times, but was improved immediately after I raised the issue. The accommodation is through a sandy area, as the hostel is not located directly on the street

I think albeit not on beach better quality ‘oasis’ and not a long walk. Manager great.
