Jabali Bungalows Lodge

All the staff at Jabali Bungalows were fantastic. Everyone had a smiling face and was extremely polite. Me and my wife stayed for 4 weeks and to our surprise the bedding and towels were changed every single day. The bungalows are spotlessly clean. The pool is kept in very good condition and cleaned daily. A clean pool towel is provided every day. There is a small gym for those who want to do some exercise. All in all Jabali Bungalows is a super holiday venue, it's just a few minutes walk to the beach and also close to Jambiani road where you can flag down numerous tuk tuks or taxis to take you into Paje or into Jambiani itself. I forgot to mention that the breakfast is very good and plentiful and the service is great.

I can't recommend the Jabali Bungalows enough. This was the best place I have stayed in Zanzibar, and one of my favourite places I have ever stayed. The staff were incredibly welcoming from the moment I arrived, and very helpful with any additional requests I had. The room was beautiful, very clean and comfortable, and felt very special, and the swimming pool was a great addition. The food in the restaurant was delicious, and the restaurant staff were very kind and welcoming. The area is beautiful, with a stunning and very quiet beach - you can walk to Paje, but it's far enough away from other tourists and people selling things on the beach. I would recommend it to everyone, but especially families or couples wanting to enjoy a quiet paradise.

Beautiful setup in the Bungalows, good beds, daily cleaning, towels provided both for the bathroom and pool and changed everyday, the pool is beautiful, the Massage and fitness rooms are very nice. I ordered the seefood from the restaurant and it was very delicious. Shedrack at the reception was very nice and gave me a lot of good recommendations for tours. Overall I had an excellent stay at the hotel.

Jabali Bungalow is a peaceful and welcoming place to stay. When we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly and made us feel at home right away. The bungalows are cozy and charming, with beautiful views of the gardens and pool. Everything is carefully arranged to make guests comfortable. The amenities exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool, eating delicious food at the restaurant, and treating ourselves to a spa day. The staff at Jabali Bungalows were amazing. They were kind, attentive, and made sure we had a wonderful stay. The location of the lodge is perfect. It's quiet and serene. Overall, our stay at Jabali Bungalows Lodge was fantastic. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. Thank you to the staff for making our stay so memorable. We can't wait to come back.

Perfect getaway place to stay if you want a relaxing holiday. Service was great and the concierge was very helpful with excursions and whatever help we needed.

Beds very hard. Felt like we were sleeping on the floor. Sheets were made of polyester. Woke up sweating. AC does not maintain temperature. Bathroom is very old. Broken showerhead splashing water on the wall. No hot water in the bathroom sink or shower. Bathroom windows dont close. Bathroom air temperature is the same as the outside temp. The safe does not work and cannot put a passcode. Wifi doesnt work- need to ask the reception to reboot the router every hour. Once we expressed our concerns to management they decided to charge our credit card for the entire week. Our experience was so horrible that despite having paid for the week we decided to book a proper hotel.

We had a wonderful time for 3 nights here. The staff were so friendly and kind! The facilities were perfect including spacious rooms with AC and a beautiful pool area. Included breakfast was also great.

It’s about 3km south of Paje so having a scooter or transport arrangements would be beneficial to stay here (it’s a 30 min walk to town along the beach but it’s not such a nice walk due to rocks and excessive seaweed).

Bungalow was perfect. Everything resembles what you see in the pictures. The location is Peaceful. Very helpful and honest staff who are always ready to help.
