Nice restored old house

Airconditioning when on gives blue light at night. Breakfast for 4 came with basket with sliced small bread and one croissant split in two for four people.

Beautifully restored hotel steps from the centre of Buhl. Wonderful hosts who welcomed us with thoughtful extras and a very delicious breakfast! The room was spotless, spacious and tastefully decorated. Parking and air conditioning were a bonus. The place to stay in Buhl!

We had an amazing week based at Die Grüne Bettlad fantastically hosted by Uschi, Rex and their dog Oreo. From the warm welcome on arrival, to the beautifully restored building and super comfortable rooms to delicious breakfasts in the courtyard, we could not have asked for more. One of the best hotels we have stayed in with wonderful hosts. Thank you for a great experience.

The hotel resides in a quiet residential area and it a small family owned hotel dating back a hundred years in the sense of style. It's a rustic classic build southern German building and has been fully kept as original as possible. The location is perfect with a lot of restaurant option mere minutes walking from the hotel.

The building is old, and by that standard made of wood and thin walls. Everything creaks and there is no soundproofing whatsoever. But this isn't necessarily a bad thing, that's just how these building were back in the days.

Everything was perfect, a very charming little cottage in Buhl and the owners are super hospitable.

The only minor complaint is there are no black out curtains, so during this time of the year, sun rises at 445am , but I'm a light sleeper. An eye mask easily fixes that.

Quiet and peaceful location. Nice tub in the bathroom and comfortable bed. The breakfast was delicious and the hosts were really nice with strong English. Bühl is a small town with a nice central walking area very near the hotel. We did not have a car send managed fine with the train and buses. I would happily return.

The house is very old, I think a few hundred years, and it has a lot of character. During the check-in, my parents were upgraded so we had the top floor to ourselves. The rooms are spacious, in particular the bathrooms that had a huge walk-in shower. The property is also around the corner from Bühl city centre, but very quiet alt the same time. The owners are very friendly and their dog is very cute as well. It is a good place to use as a base for exploring the Black Forrest. I would definitely go back there if I need to make a stopover.
