Great hotel! Rooms are new, beds are comfortable, the staff are welcoming, and breakfast was great and the view is stunning! Best for romantic vacations.

Nothing at all

Wonderful views—truly breathtaking. All the rooms face both the ocean and the volcano. The apartments are very nice and private, with comfortable beds and excellent air conditioning, which is especially important during the hot Santorini summer at the end of June. At reception, the team is very helpful—they provide a map, offer great suggestions, and assist in coordinating tours. I highly recommend Harry, our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the island’s history and Greek culture, friendly, and took us to a delicious local restaurant where we experienced authentic Greek cuisine.

Probably the only drawback is the stairs. While the staff assists you with your luggage on arrival and departure, there are still quite a few steps between the lobby and the apartments.

I made my reservation several months in advance. I discovered a week or so before my stay that the rate for my stay was 2 x as much as what was available closer to the reservation date. When I discussed this with the hotel, they said my inquiry was too late to receive the discount. I then requested an upgrade to my room. At first, they were equivocal, but the they agreed to upgrade my room to a Junior Suite. However, upon arrival, we did not receive the accommodations promised. No minibar, etc. This was very disappointing and I realize now we did not get value for our money.
