requested a quiet room at booking for 2 nights. No message at acceptance that hotel only had available a noisy room facing the main street. Our small room south side got very warm (>28C) during the 2 days (hot weather). Had to leave window open during night for cool air. Getting noise from early morning traffic. Complained after 1 night to get a quiet room for 2nd night but hotel advised they could not change the room (despite people leaving hotel after our first night). Curtains that do not darken the room at all. Sink in bathroom had big hole, missing the closing tap (things falling in the sink being lost). Sound insolation room not good (hear neighbour). Price / quality no match. Guess we have been unluckily - hotel needs to improve comms at booking acceptance that they cannot comply with request - so we can choose to cancel room i.e. book another hotel.

Convenient location near the motorway for if you are passing through during a trip. Friendly staff. Very good food at the restaurant, which is open every day. Free parking. Supermarkt next to the hotel in case you need any supplies. Breakfast served at the table (not buffet), was okay.

No separate reception for the hotel, you need to go in to the restaurant. Card machine did not work, paid cash. Room was not ready yet when I arrived late afternoon, beds needed to be made still but was done quickly. Traffic noise from the nearby motorway.
