Excellent service and facilities

Clean and smartly presented, staff were excellent

Space in the bathroom was “ very limited around the WC “ Room 13

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. This hotel often seems to be forgotten because it's not in the town centre, but in my experience is a much better hotel than the others in Ellon. Food is really good and the rooms are lovely.

Didn't have time to stay longer.

The staff we interacted with were very friendly. Restaurant menu was good as was the food. Good location, and plenty of parking.

Water supply struggled to reach the top storey, resulting in a very poor shower. No curtain or blind on one of the windows. No tourist information available. While it was clearly the original Station Hotel, adjacent to the old station which no longer exists, there was no reference to this; for example, some pictures showing the old railway would have added interest to the surroundings.
