"Exceptional"

This is a small hotel in the "family business" range, one of those historical hotels constructed in France along the railway in the 19th century. Nicely renovated, it offers modern comfort together with the flair of old buildings. Beware of the opening hours, and there is no elevator (there is no way to put one without compromising the historical building, obviously). Great breakfast.

"A fantastic hotel"

Our host was fantastic. We arrived wet a bedraggled from cycling in the rain. He made sure the bikes were secure and allowed us to eat takeaway pizza in the dining room. A wonderful stay. Thoroughly recommend.

"Very comfortable overnight stay."

The hotel carpark is right beside the hotel, which is conveniently situated towards the end of the town's main street, just a couple of km from the motorway. The host was very welcoming and though the hotel is old, it is spotless and beautifully maintained. The bed and bedlinen were lovely. Breakfast was plentiful. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely stay again.

The hotel is a very old house. There isn't a lift. We didn't find this an issue at all.

"Beautiful Experience"

Our host David was wonderful. He was very kind and delightful. The hotel is quaint and unique. We really enjoyed our stay.

The only quirk was the toilet is on one end of the room and the sink on the other side, but we managed. We would definitely stay there again.

"Great hotel in a great town!"

We came to France for the Rugby world cup and stayed in Feurs for our matches at St Etienne. Transport to the city was easy. Feurs was wonderful and we really enjoyed the people, the restaurants, markets, hippodrome. The hotel was great. David is a very good host and took great care of us. He made a copious breakfast with good quality ingredients. The hotel has a really homely feel to it - a good vibe! We felt very comfortable there.

This was just a great experience. Thank you.
