Very laid back house including a brand new pool. Nice for bird watching, relaxing and with short distance to the beach & Galle.

“It was the perfect place for us, with fun-filled adventures.” Stunning villa, the cleanest and most beautifully situated we have ever experienced. The villa itself is very well designed and spacious. The garden is large and easily accessible, with stunning views. The homely ambience, peaceful atmosphere, lush surroundings, and food made us want to soak up every minute. The best highlight of this villa was that they specialised in arranging you with an amazing experience in bicycle riding through local villages and kayaking in the surrounding areas. It was our first time kayaking, so at first we were a little hesitant, but the expert setup and instruction dispelled any worries. In the evening, the host guided us on an enthralling kayaking excursion over the stunning inland rivers. Anyone visiting this property should definitely check out this activity!

We had a wonderful time at The Halcyon Galle. The villa itself is beautiful and the surrounding gardens and paddy fields. Naren and all the staff made us feel so welcome and went out of their way to accommodate our needs particularly with respect to our sleeping arrangements which were more comfortable and elegant than we expected . We loved all of the meals that they prepared for us and every meal we got to experience some different local delicacies. They assisted with any arrangements we needed in terms of transport to and from local attractions/events. We would love to return one day. Highly recommend.

We stayed in the double room with nature view. The owner is an antique passionate and has exquisite taste which reflects everywhere in the property. Without a doubt one of my favorite hotels I stayed in during my time in Sri Lanka! Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the staff and the owner. Ideally situated to visit Galle, only 10 minutes away from the beautiful Unawatuna beach. The room we were staying in had all the comfort and amenities, super clean, well decorated, and quiet. The employees go beyond and above to please you and the owner is a source of lots of information that he is happy to share We had a wonderful experience. All staff were delightful and eager to help! Breakfast and dinner were amazing using only local foods.
