Stanza spaziosa e comoda, bar sotto le camere comodo per fare una bevuta la sera, posizione mediamente comoda.

La colazione non è come ci si può aspettare, niente tavolini e menù, tutto fai da te, loro ti lasciano cucinotto e sala a disposizione con pane, pancake, frutta, yogurt, latte, caffè, Orange juice ecc ecc e puoi fare come se fossi "a casa tua" però in comune con tutti gli altri ospiti che possono arrivare anche prima e prendere anche più di mezza roba che c'è a disposizione. E comunque sarebbe meglio che questo tipo di colazione venga specificato prima se no è possibile che con "prima colazione" uno possa aspettarsi la colazione al tavolino anche con buffet ma pur sempre diversa da come propongono loro.

Accessibility to public transport. Staff more than helpful when I needed to do some laundry. The kitchen area had everything we required. Great atmosphere in the bar and meeting the locals.

From the very beginning, our experience at the Commercial Hotel, Insch, was absolutely fantastic. Martin was incredibly friendly and welcoming he even met us right at the main entrance with a big smile and kindly offered to help with our bags. The whole place was spotless, fresh, and beautifully looked after, which immediately made us feel comfortable and at home. Before arriving, I had sent a message about dairy allergens for the kids, as we’re vegan. To our surprise, Martin went above and beyond he actually went out to the shop himself and bought plant-based milk, bread, and cheese for us, and even provided bananas and fresh fruit. That thoughtful touch honestly exceeded all my expectations and meant so much to us. The hotel itself has a quirky charm with loads of rooms, giving it both character and comfort. The shared kitchen was huge and well-equipped, which made things really convenient for our family. Our room was spotless, fresh, and super comfortable, and it was clear a lot of care went into keeping everything clean and inviting. Another highlight was that we were told not to rush on our checkout, which made the whole experience even more relaxed and enjoyable. There’s also a lovely pub downstairs I wished I could have sat for a drink, but the kids had other plans! Martin, being the absolute star that he is, actually went and knocked on the door and brought me a small bottle of red wine instead. It honestly felt like staying in a luxury hotel but I doubt I’d have received that kind of personal care anywhere else to be honest. This was by far the best stay of 2025 for us. Martin’s kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care for his guests really stood out and made our visit unforgettable. We left with such a positive impression and would 100% recommend the Commercial Hotel to anyone visiting the area. We’ll definitely be back.

Honestly, the only thing I didn’t like was not getting the chance to sit in the lovely pub downstairs, hopefully next time!

The food- stocked kitchen/sitting room was a huge bonus. Just incredible value. Perfect location for our Turriff show visit even though this year, enormous winds hugely shortened show. Always stay here. Big decorating effort from last time but would not have mattered

The breakfast was OK for the money. There was a variety and always, available.

I did like the noise coming from vehicular movement and the shared toilet. It actually felt like airbnb
