This was a wonderfully comfortable and perfectly situated hotel from which to explore Kandy. We loved the design of the apartments and the location. The breakfasts were wonderful.

I’m sure it was a mistake in calculating the exchange rate, but the initial bill for the hotel was 80% overpriced. A quick calculation showed the correct price and the staff were happy to adjust. Make sure you check the conversions. Also, a quibble. The rooms indicated a bar list of beers and wines, but when we asked after a long day out walking, we were told there was no beer or wine available ‘as the hotel is within a kilometre of a temple’. This is despite the fact there are more than a dozen bars closer to the temple. Didn’t get any clarity on this. Otherwise the place was wonderful and would recommend staying here, primarily for the location and the comfort of the apartments.

The perfect spot in Kandy. Tucked up the hill overlooking the lake this is an oasis of calm and serenity away from the bustle of Kandy. The rooms are beautiful, exceptionally comfy beds and the balcony views across the gardens and lake are stunning. The breakfast terrace is a delight. The staff are all super friendly and helpful and the food is very tasty and fresh. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay at this lodge in Kandy. Absolutely stunning view from our balcony with clean and spacious rooms. Bonus points to staff for carrying our luggage from the road as it is a steep climb and allowing us to have breakfast served in our room!
