Nice hotel, over priced

Beautiful hotel in an excellent location above the lake! Also fantastic service and food!

Attention, il y a une belle côte juste avant d'arriver à l'hotel (que notre taxi n'a pas pu prendre)

Beautiful view over the lake, walkable to the city center of Kandy. The breakfast really good and the staff is very kind and helpful.

It felt they were very focused on money. The moment you arrive they sit you down with a juice and you have to pay immediately. When you order a dinner this also has to be paid instantly. For a hotel like this, it would make us feel a lot more at home if we could pay all at check-out. Our airconditioning wasn’t working well, although we haven’t flagged this and I am sure they would have been helpful.

The bed was very comfortable. Good view from balcony. Great room size.

As mentioned by others the access to the lodge is via a very very steep hill. If you have accessibility issues this is not for you. Although location is in walking distance to main town and Temple of the Tooth, you do have to walk down a very busy road with now pavement before reaching a crossing point. It's not for the feint hearted.

Good location, couple of minutes walk from the centre. Set in a beautiful garden. Room was very clean and spacious. Good shower and large comfy bed. Nice balcony with a view. Lovely staff and delicious breakfast served in a restaurant overlooking Kandy City. Cold juice on arrival was a very nice touch.
