The Kandyan Villa

Ruime villa, vriendelijk personeel, heel mooi zicht

We hadden de bungalow geboekt met 3 slaapkamers, en die was veel ruimer dan verwacht, waardoor het voor ons eerder ongezellig was. Zeker goed voor grotere gezinnen of families die samen reizen. Over het algemeen was er niet echt sfeer, ook weinig andere gasten. Locatie was ook nogal ver van restaurants en winkels. Wel rustig en mooi zicht, maar op een helling en wat meer afgelegen. Ongezellig restaurant. Hygiëne viel ook wat tegen, was niet in detail gepoetst, zwembad toont zijn ouderdom,… niet echt was we er allemaal van verwacht hadden, alles ziet er toch een stuk beter uit op foto. Zeker niet slecht, maar ik zou er niet opnieuw naartoe gaan.

We really like the fact that the receptionist was helpful and spoke English. The staff was really nice and proactive. The room was big and well appointed. There was a balcony and we had a greta view. It was super quiet and a nice breakfast was also included. Very nice pool and very welcome after a long day.

The smell of the toilet was not pleasant (smell of urine) and I had to clean it. To find the hotel was not easy, it is situated up in the mountains, and it makes it difficult for tuktuks to pick us up.

The rooms were ok and the breakfast we ordered were great. The outside scenery was amazing.

Too many steps to get around. The AC did not work. No staff at the reception desk when calling at night. Someone in the kitchen came over after several calls. The road to the facility is narrow and not very good.

Kandy is een drukke stad. The Kandyan Villa ligt op 15-20min rijden met een tuktuk vanaf het centrum (station/Kandy lake) op een berg met fantastisch uitzicht over de stad. De tuin met zwembad is prachtig. Daardoor is het verblijf in The Kandyan Villa heerlijk rustgevend. Het personeel, en in het bijzonder de manager, is bijzonder vriendelijk en in voor een praatje.

Villa usytuowana powyżej miejscowości Kandy, z pięknym widokiem. Przemiły personel, czysto i przyjemnie. Byliśmy trzy noce i codziennie serwowano nam inne śniadania. Wszystko świeże i pyszne.

Pænt og rent værelse. Flot udsigt over byen.

Ligger et stykke fra centrum, så man skal med tuk tuk, hvilket tager lang tid pga. trafik. Meget lydt, man kan høre alt larm ude fra gangen.
