Hotel Splendido

Beautiful location and very helpful and pleasant staff. Breakfast was also excellent.

Nothing really. It's a 35 min walk into the centre of Kotor, but if you don't want to do that you can get a cab or a bus.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Splendido. The staff were friendly, professional, and always helpful. We loved the welcoming atmosphere, the beautiful surroundings, and the overall experience. The hotel has a great location by the bay, and we would be happy to stay here again in the future.

The first thing that struck me were the utterly stunning views, the hotel is authentic, rustic and the outside feels high end and very well appointed. It's position in the bay is to die for and having a morning coffee at the waters edge on a table for two with the imposing mountains surrounding you is really a moment to behold. There is a great pool with plenty of beds, a cute little private beach and a huge area to sit at the water's edge and drink in the wonderful vista. There is a small gym room which has some free weights; it's nothing fancy but it gets you out of trouble. I found the staff an utter delight, smiling faces, happy to be there and happy to help. They were very attentive, not pushy at all and we were on first name terms with some almost immediately.....I was never looking around for someone to bring me another beer, they just got it right. Breakfast was perfect, good/wide selection, very healthy options and not too much rubbish food. The rooms are exactly what you see in the picture.... they are fine, yes they are not newly refurbished and trendy but the style is in keeping. They are not expensive at all so they are about right and shouldn't really warrant criticism. The toilet is at a unconventional angle to the basin however I'm 6'2" and I had no problem so I don't know why some people even mention it. The rooms were clean and well serviced but to be fair my shower door was difficult to operate (room 203 if you are reading this) and needed fixing. The hotel is in a delightful spot away from the hustle and bustle of Kotor and is a 30-minute stroll to or from the hotel. People have pointed out there is not a pavement, which is true, the cars whizz past, which is true, however we didn't feel unsafe at all. Most of the time we walked side by side chatting away. If you have small children it would be better in a cab. The bus service looks a bit hit and miss so we just walked and it was a nice thing to do. You can easily get a cab which is very cheap and only 5 mins. I could have existed at the hotel and Kotor old town for a week and done nothing else. This for me is a relaxing type break and not a whistle stop to get everything done. Much is the same beauty and authenticity wherever you go. Having said that, the cable car is a must and a speed boat trip to a neighbouring site was a nice interlude. I'm generally quite critical of service and hotels etc but in this case I have nothing but good to say, I felt comfortable and welcomed from the first second I arrived to the sad moment I had to leave.

A estrutura do hotel é linda. Uma vista incrível. Com direito à praia particular. Ideal pra quem busca sossego e não tem intenção de fazer atividades fora do hotel.

Longe do centro de Kotor. Difícil locomoção, apenas por táxi, carro alugado ou caminhada de 40 minutos até o centro histórico. Os ônibus públicos não passam com frequência.

Good food, with some local entries. Pleasant and helpful service. Clean. Welcoming.

Tea cups were a bit too small (which is not really a serious thing to complain about).

Wonderful hotel right by the water with a private beach and lovely restaurant. Restaurant staff were all so lovely and Irina at reception was extremely kind and helpful. Also thanks to the Serbian student, who helped with translation. Lovely place, would definitely recommend.

Could hear all outside noise very clearly, even at night so it was a bit difficult to sleep. Room design meant very narrow walkway between bed and table.

Il posto vicino al mare

Un po' distante dal centro, e che prima avevo prenotato il parcheggio moto ma quando sono arrivato mi hanno fatto arrangiare, alla prenotazione mi hanno detto che si paga, quando sono arrivato che non si paga, e quando sono andato via ho dovuto pagare, non sanno nemmeno loro.

המיקום היה חלומי, על שפת המים. הנוף הנשקף מהמלון כמו מהסרטים. הצוות היה מעולה. מתחשב. ארוחת בקר מעולה.

החדר, חדר האמבטיה במצב תחזוקתי לא טוב. בהחלט חייב שיפוץ.

Breakfast was very good, terrace and the view was excellent, staff perfect.

Room, roof top was not what I excpected, ceiling was not high enough in most of the room.

Spędziłyśmy w hotelu Splendido cztery noce i jesteśmy zachwycone pobytem. To miejsce, do którego z przyjemnością wróciłybyśmy ponownie. Na szczególne wyróżnienie zasługuje personel – niezwykle miły, pomocny i profesjonalny. Już od pierwszego dnia czuliśmy się tutaj bardzo dobrze zaopiekowane. Bardzo doceniamy również elastyczność obsługi – udało nam się zmienić pokój na taki, który w pełni spełnił nasze oczekiwania. Otrzymałyśmy piękny pokój z widokiem na morze, dokładnie taki, o jakim marzyłyśmy, a dodatkowo z osobnymi łóżkami zgodnie z naszą prośbą. Pokój był komfortowy, a łazienka bardzo funkcjonalna i wygodna. Śniadania zasługują na najwyższą ocenę – duży wybór potraw, wszystko świeże i bardzo smaczne. Każdego ranka można było znaleźć coś dla siebie. Ogromnym atutem hotelu są przepiękne widoki na Zatokę Kotorską. Basen ze słoną wodą, wygodne leżaki, parasole oraz zadaszone miejsca do wypoczynku sprawiają, że można tu naprawdę odpocząć. Hotel posiada także własną, kameralną plażę. Zejście do wody jest dość strome, ale dzięki temu można szybko cieszyć się krystalicznie czystą, głęboką wodą. Bardzo praktycznym rozwiązaniem są platformy z drabinkami oraz prysznic przy wyjściu z morza. Dodatkowym plusem jest kryty parking hotelowy, co w tej okolicy jest dużym udogodnieniem. Lokalizacja również jest świetna – bardzo blisko do Kotoru, a jednocześnie w spokojnym miejscu pozwalającym odpocząć od tłumów. Splendido to hotel, który urzeka widokami, świetnym jedzeniem i doskonałą lokalizacją, ale przede wszystkim ludźmi. To właśnie personel sprawia, że pobyt staje się wyjątkowy. Serdecznie polecamy ten hotel każdemu, kto planuje pobyt w Zatoce Kotorskiej.
