Kernos Beach Hotel & Bungalows

The sandy beach is just beautiful, and sunbeds have plenty of space around, which hotel guests don't pay. We have visited several other beaches in the area, but Kernos beach was the best. The hotel has lots of greenery, lots of space, not too many buildings like the majority of other hotels. The restaurant where we had breakfast and dinner is outside with a view to the sea, just beautiful, and the food was great. There is a Greek taverna on the beach where, for lunch, we enjoyed in Greek food and Greek music.On the top of everything we liked, we loved the stuff! Everyone was so nice and helpful. The furniture in our room was a little bit outdated. We had lots of ants on the balcony because we were on the ground floor with the grass in front. They sprayed it, but in two days, they returned. We didn't mind the ants in comparison with everything else positive

The place was perfect The staff was the nicest and very pleasant and welcoming. They let us enter the room early before check-in and check out later in full consideration of our flight times. Highly recommended!! We will definitely be back here

Location and Facilities in a beautiful setting. The food was very good and The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel's location is unbeatable, directly on a beautiful long sandy beach. While on a walking distance from Malia where many shops and bars are found, it is far away from the noise of the town. Our bungalow was relatively newly renovated, clean with very good air conditioning. At night, we loved lying on the sunbed of our private terrace enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Beach and pool are well furnished and very enjoyable. Both breakfast and dinner buffets offered a great variety of Greek and international cuisine. The food at the lunch restaurant near the sea was delicious with a local flair. We always had a table with a sea view. The greatest advantage of this complex is the space! We never felt like the place was crowded despite the hotel was full. Particularly praiseworthy is the staff. Very friendly and efficient! Great value for money, strongly recommended!

The only thing to complain about is that we didn't have the opportunity to stay longer!

We have had a fantastic stay in Kernos Beach. We had the chance to get an upgrade in a bungalow at the seafront and it was wonderful. Of course it was still very calme this time of the year. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast and diner with variation of food. Nice private beach shared with 1 other hotel. Staff do everything to give you a comfortable stay! I even got a birthday cake, very kind. Thank you. Barbara and Leslie from Belgium, last week in room 507 😊

Beds were not comfortable, the linens were very thin and the blankets should be thrown away. They were old and awful looking. The room was very dated with a lot of switches on the walls that no longer work. The rooms was not cleaned well. There were cobwebs on the table and lights, the curtains were old and torn, the chair in the room was old and the furniture outside on the balcony needs to be cleaned and replaced. There was no place to hang your towels in the bathroom and no shelf for your shower essentials. Rooms did not have a good smell. There were no daily activities at the resort so it was very boring for us. The food was okay but set up like a banquet every day. And the dining chairs were very uncomfortable with no cushions!!!!

Hotel with great location, close to the beach and bars in Mália. Friendly and welcoming staff. We were offered a welcome and farewell reception. We love it

Buffet not very diversified, could be better.
